"How can I help shipbuilders control their business manufacturing process?"

Driven by this question, the founder of Datawright David Wright and three friends developed a software system from a small house in Newcastle upon Tyne.

In 1979 this young company were using the latest cutting edge technology, WANG terminals. Soon the friends had built a system and through word of mouth were rapidly gaining interest from local manufacturers.

Our ERP business management system was born, the team and their software evolved and grew the company to a global provider of business systems across many industries.

Decades later our aim is to carry on this legacy of innovative thinking and develop software that allows our customers to reach their potential.

Datawright is the author of the Kingfisher ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and SNAP invoice management software.
