“As a former customer who benefited from Datawright software for ten years, I am probably more qualified than most MDs at truly understanding the needs of our clients.”
Jim earned his manufacturing medals as Production Director of an engineering company. He enjoyed the software side of his role so much he joined the authors of the ERP system he had worked with for so many years.
Jim and his wife Helen relax by restoring and travelling around the country in their bright orange 1976 VW campervan ‘Gracie’. Be sure to give them a wave!
Chartered Director Jim also sits on the board of Common Purpose and the North East panel of the Bank of England.
“My passion is connecting with you, our clients, and experiencing our software being a part of the direction your companies are heading and the success you achieve.”
Following completion of his engineering studies and commercial training, Ian spent 15 years as a Design Engineer preparing multi-million pound tenders for globally recognised blue chip companies.
This industry background has proved invaluable when working to achieve best practice within our customers’ projects.
Ian is kept busy outside of work by his young family, whilst trying to keep up with his hobbies of fitness and nutrition. Ian also acts as Parent Governor for his sons’ primary school.
“Working on the development of our ERP software for over 25 years I have enjoyed visiting many hundreds of manufacturers looking for a business management software solution.”
