Exports quadruple after new orders

Software specialist Datawright Computer Services has quadrupled its exports after winning many new contracts for both the Kingfisher and SNAP products.
The Washington-based company’s SNAP Invoice Management System latest install is at a London based Healthcare NHS Trust. The teams have also worked across Europe deploying Kingfisher systems for existing customers to support their growth.
The roll-out of the new product and the development of new overseas markets has been made possible by taking on five new staff and installing new equipment to improve efficiency and flexibility at Datawright HQ.
The performance increase from recent server upgrades has allowed Datawright development teams to work more quickly and effectively, slashing some tasks by as much as 90%.
The virtualised systems mean the company responds quickly to demands without requiring new hardware – if a system is no longer required it can be removed and the virtual resources are freed to be used again.
Coun Henry Trueman, deputy leader of Sunderland City Council, said: “Datawright’s exporting success, new contract wins and expansion is fantastic news, and boosts our reputation as a leading software city.”
